I took Nathanael to the Dr. today to get an ultrasound on his ankle. The results are that he would have been far better off if the bone had broken. It would have healed within 6 weeks and been even stronger. But we like to do things the hard way in our family and he has completely torn the ligimate in his ankle . He can't walk on it for several more weeks and he said that it will take a year before it is normal. Poor guy. You don't realize how hard it is to get around with crutches until you have to do it. You can't carry anything and people let the doors slam on you. Even at church! Not fun.
Nasty. (At least his feet don't look like eagles claws, he has that to be thankful for).

ReplyDeleteI'm curious, do Deryk's feet look like eagles claws? And did Bishop Dees find a special way to shape them that way? I know he LOVES eagles as all cool guys do! Andrew has 8 here in the office right now.
