Aaron's letter

howdy, it has sure been a good week. we had 2 baptisms this week on wednesday and we confirmed them on sunday. the work is the greatest. we are also teaching karlita she is doing awesome and has been to church 4 times her baptism will be on the 20 of june. this ward is great, the members do a whole lot that is why there is so much success. i have a new companion now, his name is elder jackman, from orem utah. i am training him. he is great and willing to learn. he will be a great missionary. he is my 3rd companion from orem so if i want a mission reunion ill just go to orem. that is cool that sister oberhansly called you, her husband is a good guy. i was surprised they called. 2 of my old companions, elder anderson and elder gleason got called to be zone leaders this transfer. elder gleason is one of my zone leaders, that is cool. elder burton is home now, you will have to go meet him, you will like him. he is a good man. i have a cool story. yesterday we went out seeing people with the high priest group leader seeing perspective elders and we ended at about 7:00. so we had 2 hours to do something. we decided to tract. when we were leaving we had a couple options of places to go. i decided one of them and we went. we get to the town homes i had picked to tract and there were hardly any people home. i said oh man why did we pick this one, there is hardly anyone home. then the thought came into my head, there is someone you need to find here. so we started tracting and got denied like 10 times then i turned to my companion and said do you want to take the next door. he said sure, he had never knocked before, this was his first time. he knocks and the guy comes out. they start talking the guy asks what is the book of mormon and elder jackman explained it then i asked, can we come in for 5-10 minutes he said sure. we taught him and come to find out his mom just passed away 2 months ago. so once again the lord has led us to people he has prepared. and we will continue to baptize. elder jackmans first door was a success. we are having fun and working hard. hope yall have a good week.
